WHERE THIS POSITION IS LOCATED:

  • Hybrid – Charlotte, NC

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Process attendance records and other timekeeping documents
  • Check payroll information for accuracy and ensure all relevant paperwork is in order
  • Coordinate with HR about changes in payroll 
  • Oversee electronic payments and distribution of payroll checks
  • Update data with salary or wage adjustments
  • Produce reports to upper management upon request
  • Answer employee questions or complaints about salaries and payments
  • Collecting and verifying employee and timekeeping data.
  • Updating payroll information for promotions, transfers, terminations, and new hires.

BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or Human Resources preferred
  • 1+ years experience in payroll 
  • Working knowledge of Workday is a plus 
  • Intermediate Excel Skills (VLookUp and Pivot Tables)
  • Excellent attention to detail
