HYBRID WORK 2 days in office and remote.  Must be in Charlotte Region.

LOCATION:

  • Hybrid, sits in Charlotte, North Carolina

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Payroll Specialist/Administrator  
  • Research and resolve questions from candidates as they relate to the processing of payroll information such as direct deposit, garnishments, retroactive pay calculations, and other changes.
  • Update payroll records, terminations, change requests and employment status changes for all employees. 
  • Process weekly payroll for 200+ candidates
  • Audit discrepancies in relation to payroll
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting (pulling candidate hours, part time reports, etc.)
  • Process weekly adjustments and send remittances for 401(k) and Health Saving Account contributions
  • Perform weekly invoicing through automated system
  • Experience in data collection, entry and reporting with great attention to detail and confidentiality

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED:

  • 2 years of general accounting experience preferred with payroll processing
  • Strong Excel skills required
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, professional hybrid environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills required
  • Excellent business acumen and research skills
