WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
- The Senior Network Administrator will be focused on assisting in the daily IT operations that involve network and system support.
- Support internal and external members as an advanced technical resource, handling networking, systems and infrastructure related issues.
- Manage the support of network operations that include LAN/WAN, network segments, intranets and other data communication systems.
- Collaborate with the Service Desk team, Engineering team and Project Management teams to contribute to the overall success of IT team projects and tasks.
WHERE IS IT LOCATED:
- Fully onsite in Winston-Salem, NC
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
- 5+ years’ of experience in a systems or network administration role, supporting an environment of 50+ servers.
- Strong fundamental background with Cisco, FortiGate, Palo Alto and additional networking technologies.
- Experience in troubleshooting systems and applications within large enterprise client environments.
- Supplemental background in systems engineering and/or infrastructure, preferred.
- Experience within a Managed Services environment, highly desired.
