WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
Oversee corporate events and meetings ranging in size from 5 to 6,000 attendees across North America
Manage annual event program calendar
Manages a team that will research, plan and execute events from start to finish according to stakeholder requirements, target audience needs, business objectives and budget
Creating an end-to-end process that addresses a work plan, run of show, timelines, deliverables, and reports for national events
Lead all promotional and communication tactics to drive pre- and post-event engagement including collaboration with other functional areas and stakeholders to promote events
Prepare and forecast budgets and manage adherence
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
4+ years of experience in event and meeting management in a corporate environment (Average 75 attendee events)
Managed and presented to executive leaders and stakeholders
Strong project management abilities: Able to manage multiple events and teams at once, while also being able to manage complex, concurrent variables
Ability to travel domestically 25% of the time
Budget management experience of varying sizes - in corporate environment
Ability to source and negotiate with properties, vendors and suppliers leveraging our scale to manage costs
