WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Serves as a primary liaison between Operations, Supply Chain and Customer Service departments as it relates to product replenishment and timing.
    • Collaborates with these departments to establish schedules and plans that allocate available resources to best serve plant and customer needs.
    • Updates the Master Schedule as needed and alerts appropriate staff of schedule changes or delays.
  • Compares current and anticipated demand with available inventory of finished goods and raw materials against the Master Production Schedule to identify any gaps to the plan.
  • Monitors rough cut capacity against future requirements based on forecasts derived from the S&OP process.
  • Participates in monthly Supply Planning meetings, lead by the Supply Chain Manager to balance supply with demand forecasts.
  • Participate in additional planning meetings with sales, production, shipping, purchasing, and customer service staff as required.
  • Measure and report-out on the Plant Schedule Attainment metric.
BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or supply chain related field.
  • 3-5 years of related experience required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Thorough understanding of the business and supply chain.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Extremely proficient with production planning systems
