  • Manage and oversee all aspects of various insurance programs and serve as point of contact for all the Company’s insurance needs
  • Recommend decisions on risk management and coverage cost issues affecting the organization.
  • Develop and implement strategic objectives, ensuring effective hazard, environmental, safety and security (typically insurable risks) risk management for the organization and lead key risk stakeholders to proper strategies.
  • Own the process of identifying, measuring and managing insurable risks, developing reports and plans, and analyzing risk/insurance problems and defining and/or overseeing the implementation of risk solutions that optimize operations.
  • Report findings on risk exposures to VP of HR and CFO including developing and managing an internal ERM program.
  • Manage the company’s OSHA reporting and ensure compliance
  • Lead claims management process for settlement of designated claims
  • Collaborate with Human Resources on worker’s compensation program (light duty, return to work requirements, etc.) and help identify work-related injury trends
  • Prepare loss analyses and budgets, identifying exposures, recommending solutions, implementing approved programs, promoting loss prevention, summarizing and presenting same to executive management.
  • Update and monitor compliance with insurance procedures and manage safety/risk management manuals.
  • Maintain database of subcontractor agreements
  • Lead the annual insurance audit
  • Manage vehicle licensure and registration
  • Ensure all drivers have proper licensure and up-to-date training
  • Travel to various branches as required
  • Perform all other duties as assigned. 



  • 5+ years’ experience in a claims management, Health and Safety or risk management-related role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of insurance plans and programs
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work with minimal oversight.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and document management systems.
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment.
