Our client provides engineering, construction and maintenance for distribution and transmission powerlines, substations, Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects and renewable energy projects.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Manage the monthly accounting close process including analytical review of monthly operating results to ensure accurate, fair, and complete accounting records are maintained
Assist with the Company’s annual close process
Prevent inaccuracies in financial statements by setting up internal control systems and adopting proper policies for financial reporting
Document and standardize transaction processes. Review and recommend process improvements.
Ensure revenue transactions are recorded in accordance with ASC 606 for all contract types including hourly, unit and fixed price.
Review and monitor AP costs and cost accruals to ensure appropriate cutoff
HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED:
Master's or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Accounting.
5+ Years of experience within Accounting/Project Accounting
Ability to write reports and analyze accounting literature.
Ability to work well with a team, lead, and deliver analytical and detailed financial reports.
Engineering and Construction experience is a plus.
