WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
Responsible for implementing features and integrations for multiple digital products and corporate functions.
Responsible for managing the database administration of the enterprise.
Conducts requirements gathering workshops and leads the solution design process jointly with business partners, technology peers and Middleware Developers
Contributes subject matter expertise to effort estimation and SOW development
Liaises and works closely with internal teams on escalated technical issues and enhancement changes/new features
Works with the Enterprise Architecture team to create and influence proper standards for development, governance and operational lifecycle
Identifies ongoing risks and pain points throughout the project, and develops and implements mitigation measures
Captures project lessons and converts them into architectural best practices applicable to the broader install base
Hires, trains, coaches and mentors the team to success
Supports the automation requirements of continuous integration and continuous deployment
Integrates test data provisioning with automated environment
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
8+ years of experience in the Middleware and Integration Architecture space
Strong understanding of Enterprise Architecture and associated best practices
Experience with MuleSoft or similar platforms
3+ years of management experience - Leading teams of developers
Experience designing public and private enterprise secure services using RAML or REST based APIs
Experience designing, developing, and operations experience with highly available, scalable and fault-tolerant systems
Ability to create engagement across corporate functions (Services, Product Management, Development, QA, Operations)
Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to lead, and create a sense of urgency around deliverables and resources
