WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Partner with leadership to administer compensation and benefits programs that support the HR strategy.
  • Advise HR team, management and employees on interpreting and applying company policies and procedures related to compensation and benefits
  • Serve as main point of contact for benefits vendors and brokers and manage relationships
  • Partner with leadership to manage the annual benefits renewal process, including tailoring benefit programs to be cost effective, to meet employee needs, to be competitive in the market, to improve employee satisfaction
  • Manage the annual open enrollment process ensuring timely communication and education, efficiency, and accuracy 
  • Manage the administration of leaves of absence and employee benefit programs, including tracking and reporting benchmarking data
  • Manage the annual employee performance and salary review process and semi-annual promotion process, including preparing and distributing spreadsheets with compensation and background data to leadership, and preparing and distributing communications to leadership and employees, producing compensation statements, updating HRIS
  • Manage calculation and payment of quarterly and annual sales commissions, annual bonuses, and other ad-hoc compensation payments
  • Manage company compensation data submissions for surveys and update pay ranges based on changes in market data

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a business-related field or equivalent work experience
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in compensation and benefits
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HR practices and principles and applicable labor, pay, and benefits laws and regulations 
  • Experience with HRIS systems; ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred 
  • Strong Excel skills (v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy is a must
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to work independently and exercise discretion  
  • Excellent written and oral communication as well as strong interpersonal skills 
  • Positive, solution-oriented team player with the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
