  • Manages strategic supply chain projects focused on existing businesses to reengage business and systems opportunities, cost improvements, and operational efficiencies
  • Lead a team responsible for implementing and maintaining the Warehouse Management Systems, Order Management, RF Applications, Warehouse Automated Solutions, CRM Solutions, and Enterprise Data Warehouse.
  • Hold workflow and business processes discussions
  • Provide leadership and supervision to unit teams regarding forecasting, tracking, and executing project tasks, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Establish communication plans and conduct regularly scheduled project briefings regarding status, issues, and challenges at all business unit levels.
  • Manages full scale of project from inception through delivery.
  • Manage the team and make decisions on recruiting and future needs.
  • Make decisions on development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions for team when required. 

 
 
BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, operational research, supply chain management, or related field
  • 2+ years of managerial experience with IT Teams and projects
  • 5+ years' experience in 3rd party logistics and Supply Chain Management
  • Expert knowledge of IT technical disciplines related to system architecture, operating systems, programming environments, databases, WMS and TMS packages, Automated Robotic Integrations/Implementations, and EDI/APIs Systems

  • Lead focus groups and workshops to discuss business requirements and business processes.
  • Apply system implementation concepts and principles  to support inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse processes and transportation systems.
  • Participate in integration meetings with clients to determine requirements and specifications.
  • Translate business requirements into system requirements, technical specifications, and data mappings for integrations.
  • Partners with technical subject matter experts to develop detailed WMS Solution.
  • Problem solve and recommend solutions while knowing when to escalate to appropriate levels.

 
BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, operational research, supply chain management, or related field
  • 6+ years' experience with 3PL or MIS, or equivalent experience with WMS implementation
  • Knowledge of SAP/Paragon or similar ERP systems and functions related to the inbound, outbound, or material master
  • Understand warehouse processes and automation systems that may interface with the WMS
  • WMS configuration, implementation, and support experience
  • Knowledge of SQL, databases, Tableau/Power BI, Alteryx, or MS Access.
  • Experience with direct warehouse operations and transportation management.
