  • Defines system scope through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems.
  • Prepares flow charts, models, and procedures and conducts feasibility studies to design possible system solutions.
  • Prepares technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of the system.
  • Collaborates with system analysts, engineers, and programmers to design systems and to determine project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, systems performance standards, and interfaces.
  • Analyzes and proposes revisions to existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary.
  • Assists in the development of training sessions and demos for end users.
  • Monitors the efficiency and effectiveness of application operations and troubleshooting problems, as necessary.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
Required Skills:
2+ years of previous experience
  • Experience with supporting applications in Unix/Linux environment
  • Experience supporting CloudBees CD (Electric Flow) deployments
  • Knowledge and understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery concepts
  • Strong work experience with IBM FileNet BPM technologies - FileNet P8 Content Engine, Process Engine, Application Engine and using Process Designer/FileNet Enterprise Manager (FEM)
    • IBM Case Manager 5.1 and solid experience with deploying and supporting FileNet P8 suite applications using CE/PE APIs
  • Knowledge and understanding in supporting WebSphere 7.x and higher in all facets of administration, maintenance, deployment and management of enterprise applications
  • Ability to support application deployments, troubleshooting Tomcat domains
  • Understanding in administering, troubleshooting WebLogic domains, clusters, and servers in distributed environment SOA its related technologies like BPEL
  • Strong knowledge of IBM MQ
    • Oracle, MS SQL Server databases
  • Previous experience in troubleshooting issues including server hangs, application deadlock, out of memory issue, high memory usage and high CPU
  • Good understanding of Windows, Linux, Oracle, WebSphere and Tomcat to perform basic diagnostic tasks as well as communicate effectively with their respective system administrators
  • Knowledge with building jar and ear files, code repositories like Git, build tools – Gradle, Jenkins, Artifactory
  • Strong problem-solving ability and analytical skills and able to integrate quickly into the team and work independently
