WHY THE ROLE IS IMPORTANT ·

  • Ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance of payroll transactions in a timely manner
  • Monitor payroll interface and resolve any discrepancies
  • Confirm and verify all payroll data, including deductions taxes and variances
  • Research and provide data reports for internal and external audits
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners on all payroll related initiatives and engagements
  • Process Domestic US Payrolls.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities
  • Validate time entries and perform variance analysis
  • Experience with multi-state and non-union with year-end, federal, state and local taxes
  • Demonstrates the ability to multitask and work independently
  • Strong knowledge of deductions, garnishments, and taxes
  • Understands financial controls and compliance with laws and policies
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
  • 4+ years of payroll processing experience
  • Willing to collaborate and work in a small team environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Strong Excel experience preferred
  • Hit the ground running through demonstrated past experience
