  • Document requirements, defines scope and objectives, and formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies

  • Designs, modifies, develops and writes requirements and specifications of software programming applications

  • Diagnose, analyze and solve application and data issues.

  • Coordinate applications release including any change management related tasks and documentation

  • Support the group’s DR, Risk assessments and change control process

  • Provide application support for business units.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

  • 7+ years of experience working at an Asset or Investment Manager, Broker or Custodian.
  • BS / BA in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related technical area.
  • Knowledge of Equities / Fixed Income / Derivatives / Private Assets processing in portfolio accounting platforms like Eagle Pace / Goldensource / Frontinvest.
  • Knowledge of Master Data Platforms like Goldensource / Markit EDM.
  • Knowledge of Data Governance workflows in tools like Collibra.
  • Knowledge of the Asset Management business with specific emphasis on Data warehouse / Reporting, Middle office operations, Securities trading, Settlement and Portfolio management.
  • Ability to write complex SQL to query large data sets.
  • Ability to document current and target state business functional workflows using tools such as Microsoft Visio and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Web Services and real-time event driven Data Integration is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Snowflake / Cloud data warehouses (i.e. Parquet / AWS S3 / Delta Lake) is a big plus.
