WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
- Responsible for developing eCommerce websites built with Javascript, HTML and CSS, and utilizing Shopify
- Responsible for creating responsive websites and a great user-experience
- Collaborate with senior executives, human resources, and the marketing team to deliver on the eComm strategy and increase sales.
- Responsible for maintaining and updating the websites.
- Monitor web traffic and performance.
- Troubleshoot website issues
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience in the Web/Software development space.
- 2-3 years of experience as a Web Developer
- Excellent programming skills and in-depth knowledge and experience with JavaScript
- Experience working with modern HTML and CSS
- Technical knowledge and experience building out eCommerce platforms on Shopify is a plus
- Knowledge and experience with single-page architecture using Vue, React, Angular or Remix
- Knowledge of templating languages like Liquid, Pug, Handlebars
- Knowledge of API creation and CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Desire to make an impact in a fast-growing business
