  • API and Data Engineering team is rapidly expanding due to business need stemming from digital transformation efforts. 
  • Building out capabilities for a center of excellent surrounding data products and pipelines.
  • Creating a Common Data Model (CDM) - dimensionally modelled data warehouse and Azure data lake storage. Code written in Spark and Data Bricks compute engine. Metadata driven.

THE LOCATION:

  • REMOTE 
    • Must be in the following states to be considered for employment: NC, SC, VA, GA

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • Bachelors degree preferred.  Similar work experience will be considered
  • Possess an understanding of modern ETL tools, database technologies, and implementation techniques. 
  • Experience working in the data integration space as an engineer utilizing Mulesoft to build custom APIs.
  • Experience with Azure - Exposure to real time data sets, Azure functions, and event hubs.
  • Experience with Microservices, event-driven architecture. 
  • Experience with Object Oriented Programming languages like: .Net/C#, Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.
  • Experience building integrations in Azure using Azure functions, Azure event hubs, or Azure App Service. 
  • Experience and exposure to Azure DevOps
  • Agile methodology experience 
  • Preferred:
    • Exposure to Dell Boomi
    • Healthcare data knowledge highly preferred.
