WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  •  Conducts information security reviews of business partners and third parties using XPO processes and standards using questionnaires or through virtual assessments.
  • Identify information security deficiencies or risks to appropriate parties. Provide escalation path for information security issues, incidents, and enquiries.
  • Provide accurate, valid and appropriate responses in a timely manner to security questionnaires provided by prospective and current customers and business partners.
  • Support sales organization with BIDs, RFP, RFI, proposals and contract processes by interpreting and answering security-related requirements and questions. Create security overview and FAQ documents / templates.
  • Develop, update/refresh, and publish information security policies, standards, and guidelines, including annual review processes.
  • Perform system assessment or gap analysis for businesses, environments, or applications to verify that appropriate security standards and/or benchmarks are in place.
  •  Leads remediation activities for Information Security standards gaps identified as part of assessments and observations.
  •  Under the guidance of BISOs, work with businesses and technology teams to capture exception requests and information and ensure non-compliance issues, exception justification, mitigation controls and risks are appropriately captured. Escalate issues to BISOs as needed.
  • Perform security assessments for new projects – this includes but not limited to new application development projects, data center build, network enhancements, or any other new technology or infrastructure build/enhancements
  • Develop KPI and prepare reporting metrics for InfoSec consulting function and progress on enhancements initiatives.
  •  Research, develop, deploy, and implement automation and efficiency tools to maximize output
  •  Assist with other GRC activities as required.
