WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
Evaluate and recommend opportunities to ensure that the desired business results are achieved based on best total value (savings, quality, delivery, etc.)
Compile, analyze, and present data to influence decision making across the business
Analyze, review, and finalize sourcing decisions based on RFx process outcomes, and negotiate regional/national/global agreements to ensure that the selection of suppliers meets all of requirements.
Manage and track franchisor contracts with suppliers.
Serve as liaison between Legal and Suppliers to speed the agreement process, protect the best interests of and ensure successful and timely contract completion.
Follow-up routinely to the accuracy, direction, and completion of project objectives with business owners to ensure process efficiency. Maintain open lines of communication with all concerned parties related to sourcing activities.
Perform periodic Supplier Performance Reviews to communicate actual and perceived performance issues/concerns with Suppliers Continuously develop procurement skills and knowledge of supply base through research, due diligence, training, benchmarking, and other means.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
Proven procurement experience across vendor management and negotiations, indirect sourcing, and management of supply chains.
Has participated in the transformation of organizations and built processes and systems from the ground up.
Demonstrated data analytics, data mining, and ability to translate into actionable plans.
Contract negotiations experience desirable (knowledge of legal terms/concepts is a plus).
Experience in developing category/commodity sourcing strategies is a plus.
Experience interfacing with multiple business partners, leaders, and functions.
