WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

  • Contributes to the implementation of process improvement initiatives related to the use of HRIS applications, systems, and tools.
  • Oversees and maintains optimal function of the HRIS, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.
  • Develop and monitor dashboards, metrics and automated data feeds and reporting.
  • Analyze and recommend enhancements and customization's to HRIS applications, systems, process, and tools.
  • Responsible for day-to-day administration and maintenance of HRIS systems, including security administration, and documentation.
  • Troubleshoot, research, resolve, and escalate HRIS related issues, as necessary.
  • Monitor and research system integration issues around data, and scheduling file transmissions. Coordinate and communicate resolution on issues with related support teams and vendors.
  • Ensure that HRIS system updates and functional releases are successful.
  • Communicates system and process changes to HR partners across the organization as well as deliver HRIS related support and training to the different end user populations. Create client specific end-user training guides.
  • Maintains current workflow processes and business rules and introduces enhancements and updates as needed.
  • Processes qualified status changes by sending updated information to the applicable carriers and updating related benefits administration systems, including importing data files into UKG.
  • Works with internal groups and vendors to support system testing, data interfaces in/out of the system, development of test plans, and the execution of plan changes and reporting.
  • Contributes to new acquisition implementations into the UKG environment as well as system configurations and data migrations.
  • Utilizes UKG’s landing page as a means of communication for the organization with customized configurations for end users (ex. manager vs. employee dashboards).

 

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS;

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or equivalent experience
  • Experience with HRIS projects (implementation, process improvements, enhancements)
  • Experience with Ultimate Software (UltiPro/UKG) and Cognos BI Reporting strongly preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Familiar with Payroll processes
  • Project management and execution skills
  • Excellent analytical skills, detail orientated, resourcefulness, and strong organizational skills are required
  • Ability to work with high volumes of confidential information in a professional manner.
