WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

The Human Resources Project Manager’s tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Support all HR Operations projects, implementations, systems, programs, and processes
  • Gather and compile information regarding scope, timeline, tasks, and dependencies and develop detailed project plans (e.g., using MS Project, Excel, or other project planning software)
  • Identify risks/issues that impact the execution and success of projects (e.g., resource availability, funding needs, functional discrepancies, testing errors, etc.).  Develop options and solutions for complex problems, and escalate as appropriate for resolution/mitigation
  • Act as liaison with between key stakeholders and contributors to ensure a high performance connected culture is consistent among all projects
  • Assist with improvement projects, including timelines, budgets, resources, milestones, and CPS
  • Document and lead project delivery workstream teams across multiple disciplines
  • Manage projects to successful completion within designated parameters
  • Create and deliver presentations, reports, and facilitation of workstream meetings
  • Close out and hand over projects to ensure sustainability
  • Manage project communications and project plans
  • Motivate and drive performance across workstream milestones, communications, and resources
  • Pivot across large scale and tactical projects

 

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or similar
  • 7+ years of HR experience with project management or leading projects
  • At least five years’ project management and seven years’ HR experience
  • Familiar and comfortable with agile project management methodology, philosophy, project management software 
  • Proven team influence and leadership ability
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure and motivate teams
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
