LOCATION:
  • Hybrid remote/on-site in Charlotte, NC
  • 2 days in office, 3 days remote (with more flexibility as needed)

  • Respond to Support HR email alias questions [forward/escalate as needed]
  • Maintenance of Employee Files
  • Benefits Administration
  • HRIS Administration
  • Pre onboarding/Onboarding/Offboarding
  • Background Checks
  • HR liaison for for CSR initiative
  • Employee birthday emails & anniversary recognition 
  • Swag [follow global guidelines]
  • Business Cards
  • US HR Website maintenance
  • Local Office Support when needed
  • COVID-19 related: Office Entry tracking/maintenance, maintenance of vaccination proof, and maintenance of self-certifications
  • HR Compliance Training administration and tracking; and policy administration and tracking (Employee Handbook, UKG login, etc.)
  • Gradifi maintenance (college save up and student loan pay-down program)
  • Google Currents posts on behalf of HR
  • Events support
  • Special Projects (e.g. email Distribution List management, HRIS maintenance, etc.)

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • 3+ years of previous experience working in HR
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field
  • Additional HR training and certifications are an advantage
  • Good knowledge of general human resources policies and procedures
  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
  • Resourcefulness mindset
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS systems
  • Familiarity with Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High ethical conduct
  • High integrity and sound judgment, able to use discretion with all communications. Must always be able to ensure confidentiality and discretion of information.
