WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
  • Ensure compliance with global transfer pricing regulations across operating jurisdictions, collaborating with external advisors and reviewing master and local files.
  • Document and maintain clear, accurate Group transfer pricing policies; calculate and record cross-border transactions aligned with these policies.
  • Prepare annual documentation for UK CFC exemptions and handle withholding tax calculation and filings for cross-border transactions.
  • Advise on tax implications of non-routine events, researching and reporting on new jurisdiction implications, and assessing tax matters related to mobile workforce and employee services.
  • Contribute to tax legislation analysis, aid in due diligence and integration of acquisitions, analyze reorganizations' tax impacts, manage tax audits, and provide support to the broader tax team.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
  • Hold CPA and Master’s degree in Accounting/Taxation.
  • Possess 4-8 years’ combined experience in public accounting and/or private industry.
  • Proficient in cross-border and non-US taxation, with a focus on UK and Canadian tax law; open to learning about new jurisdictions.
  • Skilled in tax research and analysis, utilizing software like Bloomberg Portfolios and CCH, and experienced in income tax provisioning (IAS12 and/or US GAAP).
  • Capable of building relationships with non-tax stakeholders, effectively communicating tax concepts.
