WHERE IS IT LOCATED

  • Jersey City, NJ
  • Hybrid 2-3 days onsite per week
  • Schedule
    • 4 Day Work Week
    • 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM OR 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM

 

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

  • Perform the functions of the Tier 2 Service Desk with adherence to ITIL 2011 based processes
  • Monitor the global technology environment and take action when alerts and tickets are received
  • Full ticket lifecycle support for incidents, changes, requests, etc…
  • Work with end user and customer to provide ticket updates and solutions in a timely manner
  • Execute ticket requests, resolutions and perform break/fix as needed

 

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 1-3 years of experience of technical support for VoIP / Telephony systems
  • Experience with ITSM systems such as Remedy
  • Ability to execute and resolve ticket requests rather than provide escalation
  • Experience supporting financial institutions or trading floors within the telephony space is nice to have
  • Experience with voice technologies such as: NICE, CUCM, WAVE/Twisted Pair, Oracle Acme Packets, or Enghouse Proteus are a plus
  • SIP certification is a plus
