• Responsible for gathering requirements, designing solutions, coding, testing, documenting, and maintaining both web applications and ETL processes.
• Coordinate with data analysts, business analysts, IT staff, and business contacts to refine requests and translate complex requirements into actionable data.
• Manage multiple requests at once and judge which request to fulfill first or seek management help for clarification.
• Inherit processes written by others with next to no documentation and be able to figure out what is going on, how to maintain it, and evaluate if you think it needs improvements.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

• 5+ years of PHP development
• Experience working with HTML, CSS, Javascript, and AJAX concepts
• Experience working with Oracle. SQL Server, mySQL, Teradata, and/or Hadoop database experience
• SQL experience, writing complex queries
• Python experience
• Experience using git version control
