- Play a key role in the company’s month-end close process by posting monthly accrual entries and maintaining supporting documents
- Prepare and review various account reconciliations and amortization schedules, including but not limited to bank accounts, prepaid expenses/insurance, and balance sheet accounts
- Maintain the escheatment process for all outstanding vendor checks
- Collaborate with the company’s Finance team to perform monthly variance analysis, correct accounting errors, and post journal entry adjustments
- Assist with interim and annual audits and the annual expense budget process
- Support the financial/accounting integration of acquired companies
- Various projects and initiatives as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Firm grasp of basic and intermediate accounting principles
- Ability to work independently with limited supervisory assistance
- Excellent communication skills including verbal and written
