LOCATION

  • Charlotte, NC - 100% remote for now, then will sit on-site in Charlotte, NC when staff transitions back into the office after October

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Engineer-Data Systems position is part of a team that is responsible for multiple applications that support the investment activities of the banking platform. Those responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Participating in the multi-year Next Gen HR program to implement the latest HCM technologies while transforming the employee experience
  • Leading planning, prioritizing and effective execution of HR data technology solutions
  • Partnering with the Data Governance team defining data requirements to gather, transform, and load HR organizational and employee data
  • Partnering with information technology cross-functional teams to adhere to required policies and standards
  • Building an effective and productive working relationship with team members, customers, and vendors
  • Managing system configurations & security and partners with Technology to support integrations between HR systems and other systems, applications, and processes
  • Promoting a culture of innovation and collaboration

 

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in field of data engineering involving data conversion and building data integration solutions or data warehouse environments such as AWS, Snowflake, Oracle, etc.
  • Previous experience handling HR data or HR System software (such as Workday or SAP SuccessFactors)
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in data transformations, cleansing, de-duplication, data analysis, manipulation, reporting and formatting
  • Expert knowledge of tuning SQL queries, ETL process for optimal performance
  • Hands on experience building data flows using DevOps pipelines and automation
  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office software
  • Proven delivery capabilities

  • Experience leveraging data pipelines for both Cloud and Hybrid Cloud infrastructures
