AccruePartners has an exciting opening for a newly created role in our Project Solutions & Consulting Practice.  We are seeking a talented Engagement Leader to support, consult, and advise our amazing clients through a broad range of initiatives in our six lines of business. This is an entrepreneurial opportunity for someone who is looking to pivot to a boutique management consulting agency.

LOCATION

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT
The Engagement Leader is a pivotal figure serving as a subject matter expert in a specific service offering, playing a critical role in supporting both external clients and internal business partners across a broad spectrum of consulting initiatives. The role encompasses several key aspects:


Practice Development:
  • Provides thought leadership and tools to enhance project acceleration, differentiating Accrue's solutions in the market.
  • Collaborates with Project Solutions and Talent Community to address emerging skills demands through training action plans.
  • Shares insights with Project Solutions leadership and Talent Community to inform product development, positioning, and pricing strategies.
  • Collaborates seamlessly with various stakeholders, fostering alignment, feedback loops, and overall collaboration between Project Solutions and Talent Community.
  • Captures project artifacts and feedback for continuous improvement, bringing valuable insights back to Accrue for refining delivery capabilities and future initiatives.

Client Success Support:
  • Works closely with the Client Success team to strategically grow the business through business development activities and networking.
  • Co-leads sales and proposal cycles, ensuring adherence to Accrue's project business system.
  • Acts as a technical advisor throughout engagement phases, involving SME’s and Talent Community resources as needed.
  • Represents Accrue in client-facing meetings, fostering discussions on solution opportunities and articulating Accrue's impact and value proposition.
  • Collaborates with the client development team to understand client needs and communicate Accrue's perspective, solutions, and value.
  • Actively contributes to business development efforts, including proposal and RFP responses, and presentations for Accrue.
  • Engages in account planning, uncovering client needs and promoting Accrue's value.

Delivery Management & Oversight:
  • Manages and provides oversight for engagement delivery, focusing on team management, quality assurance, and coaching.
  • Ensures that what is sold to clients is successfully delivered, providing the right level of solution knowledge and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Acts as the key contact for day-to-day operational aspects of assigned projects, maintaining effective communication with both clients and the project team.
  • Manages project governance, financials, risk governance, and quality assurance, contributing to continuous improvement.
 
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
  • Possess a high degree of expertise, certification preferred, in their subject matter area(s)
  • 5+ years’ experience in pre- or post-sale consulting or as a business professional, demonstrated technical project delivery and account management skills and experience.
  • 2+ years consultative or solution selling processes, and a demonstrated ability to effectively execute strategic plans.
  • Proven ability to develop full-scale project plans, white papers, RFPs and associated communications documents
  • A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited institution is required
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
