WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

• You'll be tasked with designing and developing software applications to control automated material handling equipment for use within manufacturing, warehousing and distribution industries.
• Perform in-house testing with software and hardware emulators.
• Create operator and administrator training manuals and materials
• Install systems at customer’s site and perform on-site integration with automated equipment.
• Train operators of the machinery and equipment 
• Provide ongoing support including after-hours support on a rotational basis
• Assume project management responsibilities
• Lead and direct the work of other software developers

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields. 
• 2+ years minimum experience in Application Development and Embedded technologies 
• Strong exposure to Windows Operating Systems and the MS Development stack
  • .Net
  • SQL Database
  • Visual Basic
• Strong experience with C and C++ 
• Java experience is preferred
• Waterfall methodology experience preferred
