WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
Leader is responsible for managing a strategic client partnership with significant exposure to the executive leadership team as they build out Sr. Manger/Director and VP roles throughout all areas of the organization
Build and maintain a strategic working relationship at the executive level within an innovative financial services client seeking a partner to bring value in both processes and talent
Develops and maintains an expert knowledge of the retained search process which is personalized and a high touch recruitment life cycle ensuring a positive outcome for all candidates and key stakeholders
Strong knowledge of the financial services industry and the ability to reach across the customer organization to build lasting relationships
Functions as a consultant by providing market insights and feedback
Manages all aspects of the retained search process from search strategy, vetting, presentations, interview processes through offer and on boarding
Provides strategic and tactical direction on searches and coordinates with senior search execution team to manage the search process and ensure it is completed to the highest of professional standards and client satisfaction
Manage all executive relationships at customer to ensure a strong understanding of talent current and forthcoming while ensuring proper market intelligence is delivered to determine the proper search strategy.
Ensures all metrics and candidate presentation timelines are met for each engagement
Ability to build a team while mentoring and training new hires to support the retained search needs
Participates in networking and business development events
Responsible for building the brand and thought leadership marketing activities for a specific target market or vertical to include participating on panels, writing articles and/or blogs and working with marketing on all content development
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
7+ years of retained search experience
5+ years of experience working within financial services
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required along with excellent business acumen and research skills are critical.
Proven negotiation and presentation skills; ability to persuade and influence decision makers. Effective at presenting and excellent relationship building skills.
Openness to New Experiences/Inquisitiveness - possess a natural curiosity, creativity, desire to learn, and a hungry mind.
