WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
Manage the development and execution of internal/external communications strategies and channel to drive engagement and brand awareness.
Drive external media releases, executive speeches, and company issue communications to engage and inform employees effectively.
Oversee internal and external marketing strategies, with a specific focus on Talent Acquisition for critical hiring needs and branding initiatives.
Identify, evaluate, and implement new technologies for marketing and communications, including CRM tools, website vendors, and marketing platforms. Collaborate with vendors to enhance branding messaging.
Lead strategic leadership and communications meetings, working with senior leadership to drive change and impact operational objectives.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
5+ years of marketing and communications experience with experience managing others.
Track record of building brand awareness through internal and external communication tactics
Demonstrates an empathetic personality, fostering positive relationships and understanding the needs of colleagues and customers.
Ability to come on-site 2-3x a week in Charlotte, NC
Experience within cargo operation industries is required, specifically aviation is a huge plus!
