WHAT THIE ROLE DOES:
- Primary responsibility for overall plant and production management in partnership with VP Operations
- Ensure production orders are being completed as per expectations, processes are being adhered to, and resources are managed efficiently
- Ensure that plant has the capacity to deliver products on-time and in full per forecasts and demand trends
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to deliver lean and process improvements, equipment and personnel upgrades, among other initiatives, to foster growth, improve customer satisfaction and continually increase efficiencies
- Develop and support standardization of hiring and training methodology, quality control methods, and other tools to improve overall manufacturing and operations management
- Help to recruit, develop and manage new production, warehousing and shipping employees
- Develop and track quarterly and annual goals that align with the company’s strategies
- Assist to ensure that all safety requirements are being met
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
- Bachelors degree
- Ideally 7-15 years of experience in manufacturing
- Detailed knowledge of plant operations in a higher-growth, well-managed company
