WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • The main function of this role is to transform the overarching company strategy, into a long-range plan with annual operating and capital budgets
  • Analyzes, designs, and documents data sourcing and mapping for reporting with the assistance of the FP&A Manager
  • Leverages financial modeling to forecast operating and profitability performance and set annual targets for KPIs
  • Manages financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Creates variance analysis reports and financial models
  • Leads real-time financial performance monitoring
  • Escalates any financial issues to Leadership
  • Sets and tracks KPIs and objectives
  • Completes market research and comparable company analysis
  • Recommends strategies for increasing financial performance
  • Presents detailed monthly financial reports to Leadership
  • Collaborates with Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors

 

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A and Business Intelligence 
  • 4+ years or more of experience with database structures, data sourcing, data warehousing finance and accounting concepts
  • MBA or MS preferred; bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Management Information Systems required
  • Strong SQL experience and understanding of relational databases
  • Experience working in private equity is a plus
  • Continuing or advanced education in business/data analysis strategies and models
  • Experience working with complex debt and capitalization structures
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other financial modeling software packages
