WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT
- Provide effective and timely guidance to the Credit & Collections team
- Manage a high volume billing and collections operation.
- Develop the credit and collections organization through on-going coaching, goal-setting, performance management and training.
- Partner with leaders in sales to provide improvements to order to cash value stream
- Establish credit/collection management and project goals, monitor/measure performance redirecting activities as required to achieve desired result
- Clearly and continually communicate credit policies and procedures in a manner understandable to the Sales organization.
- Negotiate the resolution of collection matters with customers
- Continuously identify and develop people, process and system improvements to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the department in serving the Sales organization and customers
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
- 8+ years of experience in Credit and Collections
- 5+ years of management experience
- Strong understanding of financial operations
- Microsoft Excel skills is a must and Oracle experience is a plus
