WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Lead and manage benefits initiatives for field, corporate and executive leadership for over 15,000 employees with exceptional customer service to all associates.
  • Monitor the success of existing benefit policies, guidelines, and procedures; strategize and recommend plan revisions as well as new plans which are cost effective and consistent with compensation trends.
  • Partner with current vendors for Medical, Dental, 401(k) and Disability with an eye for the future state of a doubling organization highly focused on employee retention.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of a full suite of benefits to include vendor selection, budgeting, modeling as well as all employee communication and training.
  • Direct the team; Benefits & Leaves Managers ensuring appropriate oversight of the administration of the health plans, which include medical, dental, life, disability, 401(k) and non-qualified executive plans (Deferred Compensation).
  • Keep apprised of federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Partner with others on the HR team; Talent, HRBP, Legal and Compensation.
  • Build internal relationships with key stakeholders to include the HR Leadership and Executive team.
  • Leading as a player/coach Manager while executing Director level initiatives and working with the team to gain results impacting the broader organization.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

  • Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • PHR/SHPR ,CCP or CEBS Certification is a strong plus
  • 5+ years leading Benefits/Total Rewards team
  • Strong communication and board presentation skills
  • Experience working a publicly traded organization is a plus
