WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
Lead and manage benefits initiatives for field, corporate and executive leadership for over 15,000 employees with exceptional customer service to all associates.
Monitor the success of existing benefit policies, guidelines, and procedures; strategize and recommend plan revisions as well as new plans which are cost effective and consistent with compensation trends.
Partner with current vendors for Medical, Dental, 401(k) and Disability with an eye for the future state of a doubling organization highly focused on employee retention.
Oversee the design and implementation of a full suite of benefits to include vendor selection, budgeting, modeling as well as all employee communication and training.
Direct the team; Benefits & Leaves Managers ensuring appropriate oversight of the administration of the health plans, which include medical, dental, life, disability, 401(k) and non-qualified executive plans (Deferred Compensation).
Keep apprised of federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Partner with others on the HR team; Talent, HRBP, Legal and Compensation.
Build internal relationships with key stakeholders to include the HR Leadership and Executive team.
Leading as a player/coach Manager while executing Director level initiatives and working with the team to gain results impacting the broader organization.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
Degree in Human Resources or related field.
PHR/SHPR ,CCP or CEBS Certification is a strong plus
5+ years leading Benefits/Total Rewards team
Strong communication and board presentation skills
Experience working a publicly traded organization is a plus
