Will be responsible for promoting and enhancing the company's reputation with key audiences through media activity, social responsibility, and crisis communication plans and being prepared for what's to come.
This person will source, evaluate, and execute on a wide range of partnership opportunities that support their mission and strategic goals both directly or in partnership with functional SME's.
You will partner with SME's internally to develop creative solutions that address current and emerging issues that affect their members and stakeholders.
You will serve as a key interface with the Communications & Marketing team on the communication of organization developments and the delivery of key messaging to external stakeholders that further position the company for success overall.
Increases overall brand awareness and reputation with industry partners, media content creators and publishers, public policy influencers, members, stakeholders, and employees.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, health management, public health, or related field. (Master’s preferred)
5 + years of experience in communications, public relations, planning, development, health policy, government relations, regulatory policy, and healthcare consulting or managed health care.
3+ years of prior supervisory experience.
Strong relationship builder with the flexibility and finesse to manage by influencing others and by setting the right example.
High energy, strong work ethic, high-touch responder, effective delegator, on-time/ on-budget deliverer.
Data driven individual with high quality decision making skills.
Needs to be analytical and be a critical thinker, excellent at negotiation skills, good judgement, and an ability to maintain total confidentiality and compliance.
