WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Develop, administer, and maintain multiple databases and stored procedures as required for enterprise-wide applications.
  • Programming and support of backend database import/export process.
  • Assist in architecture, design, and development of enterprise applications
  • Work closely with business users and team members to understand business requirements
  • Maintain optimal operation and tuning of databases.
  • Participate in the full development life cycle which includes but is not limited to: preparing analysis documents, translating business requirements to detailed design specifications, writing detailed program specifications from design specifications, writing code components that match detailed specifications, and developing and executing test plans to ensure software quality
  • Writing and maintaining database documentation
HOW WILL YOU QUALIFY:
  • 3-5+ years’ experience in database administration
  • Experience with SQL Server 2008, 2012, 2014, 2016 & 2019
  • Ability to design and optimize SQL Server stored procedures
  • Knowledge of the .NET Framework, including Visual Studio SSIS Packages debugging, deployment.
  • Experience with Data Warehouse, Synapse Management (in Azure is a plus)
  • Knowledge of Windows SQL Clusters a plus
  • Experience with SQL PaaS in Azure a plus
  • Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices
  • Experience in building and supporting custom data integrations between disparate systems
  • Ability to prioritize, manage and execute on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Collaborative approach to design issues, leadership and problem solving
