- Support the creation and implementation of processes and procedures to support data standards and control frameworks.
- Meet with necessary stakeholders for Business Glossary implementation.
- Act as SME on Governance practices to help Data stewards' day to day activities.
- Define Data Catalogs.
- Collecting and interpreting data, understand the relationship between the data elements.
- Identify and define new process improvement opportunities.
- Filter and “clean” data by defining the data quality rules.
- Perform Data Profiling tasks.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of previous experience
- Previous experience using Collibra DG and DQ toolset.
- Knowledge and understanding of data architecture and modeling practices and concepts including entity-relationship diagrams, normalization, abstraction, denormalization, dimensional modeling, and meta data modeling practices.
- Knowledge of Data Governance Practices – Business Glossary, Data catalogs, source to target mappings, Data Quality etc.
- Strong SQL knowledge preferably on Oracle and Snowflake Databases
- Previous experience working with Governance tools. Collibra is must.
