• Creating a Common Data Model (CDM) - dimensionally modelled data warehouse and Azure data lake storage. Code written in Spark and Data Bricks compute engine. Metadata driven.

THE LOCATION:

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

• Bachelors degree preferred.  Similar work experience will be considered
• Experience building and optimizing highly scalable data sets. 
• Experience with Big Data pipelines and architecture, supporting semi-structured data processing
• Knowledge of and experience with data warehousing concepts and design
• Strong SQL skills - Writing and optimizing
• Experience with Object Oriented Programming languages, including: 
  • Python, Scala, C++, Java, or .Net/C#
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Experience working with SQL Server, NoSQL Database, or Cosmos DB.
• Experience working with Azure Event Hubs or Apache Spark or Kafka for data-processing architecture.
• Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Data Visualization tools like Trino
  • Healthcare data experience preferred.
