WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
The Cybersecurity Manager will drive security operations, engineering design, implementation and management of security systems and security policy and procedure.
Partner with Infrastructure Managers to drive security strategy, platform roadmaps and lead continuous improvement efforts across the organization.
Own the technology stack for all security related platforms including firewalls, IDS/IPS, AV and Malware Protection, MDR, URL Filtering, and Disaster Recovery technologies.
Serve as a technical leader and people manager while helping assess, plan and deploy cybersecurity protection platforms.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
CCNA Security, CISSP, CISM, or other Security certification is required.
8+ years of Infrastructure Engineering experience with 5+ years focused on Security Engineering.
3+ years of management experience, managing small to medium sized teams.
Experience designing secure networks, systems, and application architectures.
Ability to proactively address the cybersecurity demand from the business/industry.
Strong understanding of Enterprise Patching, Enterprise PKI, DNS protection, Firewall Management, IDS/IPS, and Group Policy is required.
