WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Management:
    • Responsible for managing a team tasked with development and maintenance of cyber security capabilities and creating high-end data loss prevention solutions. 
  • Providing Thought-Leadership:
    • Lead the development and creation of highly innovative Data Protection and Data Loss Prevention solutions and capabilities for the firm. 
    • Responsible for developing the processes and plans for protecting sensitive data from improper use and loss. 
  • Manage Audit, Risk, and Compliance:
    • Provide architectural vision and and roadmap for Data Protection, in accordance with regulatory compliance standards and cybersecurity control frameworks.
  • Innovation: 
    • Tasked with leading the creation and build-out of the next-gen cyber security program.  


THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years experience in the cyber security space. Masters degree preferred. 
  • Background in Financial Services or similarly high-regulated field/industry.
  • Seeking a thought-leader in Cyber Security. Ideal candidate will have created/invented innovated solutions in the cyber security space.
  • Broad knowledge of cyber security technology concepts and best-practices required. 
    • Expertise in one or more of the following areas: Data Security, Data Loss Prevention, Data Governance, Information Protection, or Cloud Security.
  • Ability to manage/supervise people and drive results. 
  • Experience managing large-scale projects and programs from cradle to grave.
