WHAT THEY OFFER YOU:
Provide oversite and ensure that cost are recorded in compliance with US GAAP and in a manner that facilitates operational decision-making
Will be responsible for all areas relating to Inventory and Cost Accounting
This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining inventory and cost accounting practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements
Manage weekly and monthly cost processes, including month-end cost close
Review and monitor AP costs and cost accruals to ensure appropriate cutoff
This role will participate in budgeting, forecasting and monthly financial closings
This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, inventory analysis, inventory costing, product margin analysis, and year-end audit preparation
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Business Related Area
Five years’ experience in industry in a Cost Accounting Senior or Manager position
Must be Microsoft Office proficient and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting. Must have strong experience with ERP and other business systems
Requires strong verbal and written communication skills
Requires strong interpersonal and supervisory skills required
