WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
 
  • The Corporate Controller is a key leader on the leadership team.
  • He/She contributes to all areas of operations management and provides strong financial leadership.
  • The Corporate Controller will manage the corporate accounting team to insure timely and accurate financial statements, planning and coordinating corporate and plant budgets and business planning activities of the Company in alignment with corporate policies and practices.
  • The incumbent will provide financial direction to the corporate accounting team and plant controllers and provide recommendations to improve financial processes and site performance.
  • The Corporate Controller must be able to communicate clear and concise facts comfortably. This position will lead a team of plant based controllers.as well as the accounting team supporting all AP functions.
  • The successful candidate will be process oriented and data driven, working to provide accurate and timely financial conditions of the Company.
  • In this role, the candidate will utilize root cause analysis to identify opportunities to improve accounting controls and processes, with strong emphasis on inventory accuracy and improving the financial condition of the plants.
  • Share best practices across finance team, e.g., process improvements, financial modeling, and procedures changes
  • Monitor and implement plant internal controls (in conjunction with corporate policies) as necessary to ensure reporting integrity, safeguard company assets, and identify risks

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role
  • College Degree Required (Business, Finance, or Economics, preferred)
  • Experience with ERP System(s), Oracle (Peoplesoft) preferred
