WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
Responsibility for overall accounting and reporting function within the shared service center, serving 15+ entities in North America.
Responsibilities include running the month end close process and ensuring accurate and timely reporting to group headquarters.
Ensure accurate reporting of statutory accounts.
Responsible for the annual audit process and assure compliance.
Implement proper accounting and reporting procedures conforming to GAAP.
Developing, implementing and standardizing proper accounting and reporting procedures within the Shared service center.
The role will be heavily involved in implementing a new ERP system (IFS10) in all legal entities in North America.
Responsible for the accurate reporting of statutory accounts.
Responsible for the annual audit process.
Implement proper accounting and reporting procedures conforming to GAAP.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business required.
CPA certification required.
Experience: 5-10 years’ experience in Audit/Accounting required.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong ERP skills in AX and JD Edwards. IFS experience a plus.
Excellent and effective interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to effectively work independently.
