LOCATION:
On-site in the North Charlotte area
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Reporting to the GM, the Accounting Manager will play a hands-on role in the tactical and strategic management of the day-to-day accounting function including monthly close, bank reconciliations, and financial analysis. This role will be responsible for general accounting and reporting, administration, and financial controls.
Monthly, quarterly, and year-end close and reporting to include consolidated reporting for Global HQ
Manage and develop the Accounting/Administrative Specialist and grow the team to fit the needs and demands of the business
Coordinate with outside CPA firm for sales & use and federal tax filings
Management of quarterly forecasting and budgeting process
Collaborate with GM and other leadership for strategic planning and financial business partnering initiatives
Oversee the approval and final submittal of bi-weekly payroll
Leverage Expensify to reconcile credit card expenses/statements
Play a key role in the enhancement, upgrade, and maintenance of financial systems
HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED:
6+ years of progressive accounting experience with general ledger functions, month-end/year-end close process, and reporting
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Experience with QuickBooks, MS Dynamics, and/or SAP preferred
Advanced level of aptitude in MS Excel
Comprehensive US GAAP knowledge
Positive attitude and ability to roll up sleeves in a player-coach capacity
Excellent time management and efficiency skills
Strong organizational and communication skills with ability to interact with all levels in the org chart
Willingness to travel 10% (international travel 1-2x per year)
