LONG-TERM CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY FOR A SENIOR PROJECT/PROGRAM MANAGER in CHARLOTTE OR DETROIT PAYING $65-82/HR. THIS IS A W-2 EXEMPT POSITION.

  • 18+ month Contract Opportunity paying $65-82/hr and benefit eligibility - client has the option to offer a direct hire/FTE position 

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Develop, track and maintain plans that identify resource and budgetary needs in support of the under the Program Manager
  • Support meetings at least once a week with team and managers
  • Provide feedback, advice, project updates and encouragement to team members
  • Manage deadlines and push the team to ensure timeliness
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed
  • Update financials on a weekly / bi weekly base
    • Track variance to forecast
    • Resource allocation alignment
  • Update and track issues and risk in conjunction and alignment with the Sr. Program Manager
  • Provide ongoing support to the Program Manager
    • Coordinate meetings
    • Capture and track action items
    • Other tasks as defined

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • Must have experience with Clarity
  • 7+ years supporting IT or information security specific projects and initiatives, ideally involving one or more of the following –
    • Firewalls (Palo Alto)
    • Email: endpoint security - email security and related tools and technologies
    • DLP: Dependency between DLP and Palo Alto firewalls - traffic going thru firewalls.
    • AWS Cloud
  • 5+ years of experience with project governance and coordination. 
  • Experience with project costing and compliance
