The Software Development Architect will serve as the highest-level technical expert in software development. This role is responsible for ensuring that the most current and most appropriate technologies are integrated into the organization. This role is also responsible for setting the standards for new software applications.


Principal Expectations:

Mandatory Skills:

  • 10+ years overall IT experience involving:
    • Agile Methodologies
    • Object Oriented Analysis and Design
    • Design Patterns ( Core, J2EE and EAI )
    • Capacity Planning for High Availability: Application Servers and Database
    • DevSecOps
    • Test Automation
    • 7+ years in-depth HRIS experience including HR data management
  • 5+ years formal solution architecture integration design and implementation experience in HCM Products such as Workday
  • 5+ years developing and implementing application strategies and patterns
  • 5+ years of experience in implementing solutions in public cloud (preferably AWS Cloud)
  • Solid understanding of BI and Data Warehousing concepts and methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability with identifying gaps cross-functionally between HR processes, HR systems and implementing process improvements and technology to ensure operational excellence and instill innovation
  • Experience working with confidential information and critical business processes required
  • Strength in development of process & procedures
  • Solid understanding of HR business procedures and practices
  • Must have excellent communication skills written as well as verbal; must be able to articulate the value proposition of solution/services to senior teams from client/prospect
  • Must be able to translate business requirements into technical requirements and solutions by planning, developing and refining to-be architecture
  • Must have ability to estimate development effort.

  • Prefer some experience in design and development of event processing-based applications
