CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY FOR A REMOTE FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT – PROCESS OPTIMIZATION in PAYING $51.65-75.14/HR. THIS IS A W-2 EXEMPT POSITION.

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT
The Functional Consultant - Process Optimization is for a mature and seasoned Lean professional who combines Lean Thinking with Lean/Six Sigma problem-solving methodologies to help our business partners optimize their operations with a focus on exceptional service for our customers. Optimization services will include process improvement, building Lean capabilities and curriculum, helping to identify End to End engagement pipeline, strategic consulting, and supporting other business transformation initiatives.
 

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
Principal Expectations:

  • Provide thought leadership to project and business teams
  • Support evaluation of business operations to determine best improvement options including automation, process improvement, sourcing changes, and realignment of resources
  • Identify business benefits, create a business case and benefit realization plan for improvement projects
  • Define & manage project plan
  • Support the development of KPIs in collaboration with business leaders to measure operational performance and project success
  • Influence business leaders and stakeholders to adopt best practices and collaborate to transform business functions
  • Assist organizational leadership in evaluating and optimizing management routines
  • Analyze process and engagement related data
  • Support building an engagement pipeline
  • Help to build Lean capability across business teams
  • Facilitate the evaluation of risks and controls associated with all improvement implementations
  • Assist in building action plans to require for implementation and address risks and implement controls
  • Collaborate with operational leadership and subject matter experts to build and align change management plan such as, Customer Impact, Employee/vendor impact, Policy and Procedure impact, Communication plan, required training, Change acceptance plan

Mandatory Skills:

  • ~30% travel required
  • Experience with data analysis/statistical analysis
  • Certified in Lean/Six Sigma
