Long-Term CONTRACT for a Build & Release Manager (Atlassian  Suite - Jira, Confluence, BitBucket) in CHARLOTTE, NC $42.56 to $59.51/hr. This is a W-2 Exempt position.

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

  • Plan, monitor, execute and drive consistent processes across regularly scheduled and hot fix releases.
  • Maintain exemplary channels of communications with all interested parties to ensure transparency and predictability.
  • Drive communications around release readiness reviews, milestone reviews, and release go/no go reviews
  • Collaborate with RM colleagues to devise, implement, and enforce standards and best practices.
  • Developing new builds and release pipelines
  • Maintaining formal release records to track release content Devise and maintain release calendar
  • Developing dashboards to help quantify internal processes Compile detailed and summary reports of releases and present to management
  • Collaborate with and aligns teams responsible for these domains to execute releases and meet business objectives.
  • Maintaining and evaluating tools supporting process automation for product release
  • Review and maintain standard operating procedures for operational elements of the program including release management, incident management plan, configuration management plan, account provisioning process, patch management plan and audit management plan.
  • Execute the release management life cycle which includes scheduling, coordinating, and managing software deployments and product rollouts.
  • Coordinate among teams responsible for security software development, product quality, application infrastructure, customer communication, and product messaging
  • Maintain detailed records of releases, including issues and remedies.
  • Provide feedback to Product Engineering and other teams to improve process and drive greater consistency, stability and quality.
  • Coordinate post deployment product validation
