WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
Oversee the monthly financial close, including validation of data uploads
Development, review, and approval of US GAAP adjusting entries to international subsidiary balances and transactions
Ensure accuracy of foreign currency translation adjustments
Perform and review analytical procedures to assist in monthly validations and work with local and foreign accounting teams to ensure data accuracy
Own intercompany elimination process, adjusting entries and problem identification/resolution to ensure timely monthly, quarterly and annual close
Review and recommend mapping assignments for new GL accounts and changes to mapping assignments between ledger system
Assist segment controllers in their review and approval of monthly balance sheet and income statement fluctuation analyses
Support the company’s merger-and-acquisition activity in relation to acquired company ledger systems
Ensure effective design of and compliance with internal controls and SOX compliance
Coordinate with internal and external auditor teams as needed to support internal and external financial reporting
Assume key role in implementation of Oracle
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business (preferably Accounting) with 4+ years of experience with a Big 4 or other national accounting firm and/or a similar role in a publicly traded company
CPA highly preferred
Exposure to Oracle and OneStream Consolidation Module preferred
Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail and ability to multi-task
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced environment, effectively collaborating with various departments within the organization
