WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
  • Oversee the monthly financial close, including validation of data uploads
  • Development, review, and approval of US GAAP adjusting entries to international subsidiary balances and transactions
  • Ensure accuracy of foreign currency translation adjustments
  • Perform and review analytical procedures to assist in monthly validations and work with local and foreign accounting teams to ensure data accuracy
  • Own intercompany elimination process, adjusting entries and problem identification/resolution to ensure timely monthly, quarterly and annual close
  • Review and recommend mapping assignments for new GL accounts and changes to mapping assignments between ledger system
  • Assist segment controllers in their review and approval of monthly balance sheet and income statement fluctuation analyses
  • Support the company’s merger-and-acquisition activity in relation to acquired company ledger systems
  • Ensure effective design of and compliance with internal controls and SOX compliance
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditor teams as needed to support internal and external financial reporting
  • Assume key role in implementation of Oracle
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business (preferably Accounting) with 4+ years of experience with a Big 4 or other national accounting firm and/or a similar role in a publicly traded company
  • CPA highly preferred
  • Exposure to Oracle and OneStream Consolidation Module preferred
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced environment, effectively collaborating with various departments within the organization
