Our client provides engineering, construction and maintenance for distribution and transmission power lines, substations, Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects and renewable energy projects.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.
Design and deploy new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems.
Gauge the efficiency of existing systems; develop and implement strategies for improving these systems.
Design and perform security and server audits, backup procedures, and other recovery processes for disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
Ensure system connectivity of all servers, shared software, and other applications.
Maintain documentation as to systems configuration, mapping, processes, and service records.
Coordinate in-depth testing, including end-user reviews, for new and/or modified systems.
Monitor and test system performance; prepare and deliver system performance statistics and reports.
Provide oversight and assign tasks to Systems Engineers.
HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related area an years of industry-related experience.
Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software systems, applications, and related products.
Azure, Azure AD and O365 experience is preferred
Understanding of protocols such as TCP/IP, SMTP, SSL, FTP
Familiarity with control models and system security.
Strong comprehension of system working frameworks (Cisco IOS, HPE, Aruba, Fortinet, Barracuda, F5 and other leading industry technology)
Sharp investigating facilities
Knowledge of backup solutions and disaster recovery.
Extensive knowledge of common networking technologies and devices including LAN, WAN, Routers, switches, DNS and DHCP.
Knowledge of server and computer networks; VoIP telephone systems, SharePoint, MS Exchange 2019, MS SQL, VMWARE 6.7 Sphere 5 and up, Active Directory
Must be willing to be part of a team that operates on an on-call basis.
