WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

• BS in Chemistry Required (MS is a plus)
• Prefer work with a chemical production or laboratory.
• Exp working in product safety/quality assurance in chemical/pharma a plus.
• Willing to travel as needed.
• Multinational company experience
• Exp as a primary customer contact for all product issues, troubleshooting chemical processes for compliant regulations.
• Experience in principles of ISO 9001:2015, internal auditor certification needed for this.
• Working knowledge of FMEA, Turtle diagrams, 5 whys, and other quality tools and all sections of TSCA.
• DOT within first 90 days
• Working knowledge of assigning ITC HTS codes in chapters 28,29,30,33, IATA, IDGM hazardous code assignments, REACH regulations.
• Able to prepare US and European union SDS and labels compliant with GHS regulations and interpret Federal register.
• Ability to work as a team.
